The Menu

Each day is tailored to the needs and desires of the women who attend. So we have created a “menu” of activities that are available. Along with sightseeing on Ibiza and leisurely walks on the Mediterranean coastline you also have the following options:

 

Incremental Movement (IM): Gentle micro movements shift your physical awareness from voluntary (effort and conformity) to involuntary (release and relief). Your instincts redirect fight, flight, and freeze reactions into frolic and fun.

 

Self-Directed: There is no other body like yours. Traditional yoga and fitness regimes follow an instructor who is following a routine developed by someone else. It might not always fit your physical configuration. Sage Yoga follows the way your body wants to move. Self-organizing patterns occur to fit the combination of people who collaborate to create this special event.

 

Enlightening:  Samadhi is living your life as if you had already died. According to physics, you already have. How can you, or anyone else, expect anything of someone who actually doesn’t exist? Sage Yoga has no expectations. You are welcome to shed your own expectations as well.  Every pattern of movement and touch shows you how to let your aliveness move you.

 

Partnership:  Some touch and movement patterns invite sharing in dyads or triads. Just as you can’t tickle yourself, there are unexpected ways that someone else can move you that can expand your freedom of movement.

 

Body Talk: As we practice together you also enhance your sensitivity. You inquire gently with your hands and “listen” with your skin, while maintaining a conversation with your partner(s).

 

Conducting: When you allow someone to soothe away your pain and pressure, your body releases the muscles in your face. Your social masks fall away, revealing softer, younger versions of you. As you receive, and share gentle touch, each person achieves a special “conductivity”. Love and energy flow through your body like electricity.

 

Laughter is Love: Certain tones of rational, spontaneous laughter inspire your body/mind. You become a muse as you amuse yourself with other sweet, appreciative people. Together we banter like geishas or like women in traditional European salons.

 

Sound and Light: Every baby, mammal, and mature human speaks an ancient language of sighs, moans, groans, gasps, and other authentic sounds that escape automatically as our bodies let others know what is real in our experience. Sweet, primordial sounds lighten our hearts and minds.

 

Taste and Aroma: Delicate, healthy snacks and essential oils stimulate the deeper brain, transporting people through their physical bodies and out into their astral bodies. We provide the map from flesh to sensation to light to infinite awareness.

 

Release and Relief: As your body lets go your mind will relinquish the flawed memories that have formed your familiar identity. You might experience mild disorientation as your interpretation of reality shifts into the magnetic field—the glow of vitality that attracts the right people into your life.

 

Socializing: Seminars and training have a place, but it isn’t here. Instead we socialize with one another, sharing special insights and abilities that lighten the hearts of our companions. Sage facilitators are maestros in the orchestration of conversation. 

 

Nature and Nurture: Ibiza has lovely beaches and natural trails along the sea. The terrain gets you to move your ankles, knees, and skeletal-muscular system in comfortable, unordinary ways that stimulate dormant parts of your brain.  As you restore your contact with nature, your nurturing qualities emerge.

 

Growing Younger: With each passing day, you leave more of your mind behind. Familiar anxieties and feelings fall away, along with habitual patterns of sitting, walking, and lying about.

 

Femininity: If you have been taking on masculine qualities to cope with the demands of your career, we are specialized in the arts of a woman. Optional dance, collage, music, painting and theater exercises evoke delightful qualities you might have neglected. Light-hearted inner theater and partnership role-play restores a higher perspective in matters of friendship, dating, mating, and marriage.

 

Rest and Relaxation:  Deep rest and relaxation assist your body to find its own rhythm and wisdom. So, you are always encouraged to nap, meditate or contemplate at any time you please. Self-actualization requires self-direction, so we trust your instincts to know what is good for you, and to recognize the times when you need your own space.
